Sylvia beach

Sylvia is a beach near Labuan Bajo - in Flores island, Indonesia. Coastline is scenic. Since there are mostly decent beachfront resorts with good beach service. You will also have chance to kayak to the nearest islets. Boat tours to Komodo Island depart from here as well. So this is a great destination in all respects. Unfortunately, there is a problem of strong low tides. So it is worth to take a hotel with big pool. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Sylvia Resort Komodo is a 3-star property with pool. Rooms' fares start from about US$60 per night. This is one of the cheapest beachfront hotels in Labuan Bajo being still relatively good. There are also several smaller hotels in the north end of the beach - including Mohini Resort (from US$50), Plataran Komodo Resort & Spa (from US$250) and Waecicu Eden Beach Hotel (from US$60).

When to go [edit]

Feel free to visit Flores island any time of year. It's always warm here - without pronounced rainy season.
