Taganga beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Taganga is a low key beach in the northern suburbs of Santa Marta, Colombia. There is a crowd of tourists, great vibe, music and restaurants, as well as many boats that take you to Tayrona National Park. A little further to the north, there are several more beaches: the nearest
Playa Grande, as well as few beautiful wild beaches. It is hard enough to get there via hiking trails, but still quite possible. You won't pay anything, and no need to take seasick boat ride over strong waves trying to get to the beaches of overpriced National park. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
