Takaungu beach

Takaungu is a coastal village in Kenya. The ocean beach is rather typical for this region - with white sand and shallow water during the low tide. However, the main tourist attraction is a "creek". Fly to Nairobi international airport (NBO), next fly to Mombasa airport (MBA). Then get to Takaungu by taxi or by matata minibus.

The best time to relax on the beaches of Takaungu is a dry season, which lasts almost all the year - except for the May.
