Tapao beach

Tapao is a beach near the main pier of Koh Kood island in Thailand. The coastline is beautiful with shallow clear water, but it's far from the best on the island. Typically, tourists choose this place to stay in one of a few premium hotels located nearby. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

Sea Far Resort is a center located beach hotel with room rates starting from $70 per night, which is rather expensive by the standards of Thailand. Near the beach there are also some other more expensive hotels, but these are old and need renovation.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Bangkok international airport (BKK). Next get to Trat - by the taxi, or by bus, or by plane. Next take a ferry to the Koh-Kut island. There are direct ferry services from Trat, as well as connecting routes via Ko-Chang and/or Koh-Mak.

It is the best, if your ferry arrive to the Hin Dam Pier (incorrectly marked in Google-maps as Ao Salad Pier / Saphan Nam Leuk Pier).

When to go [edit]

The best time for relaxing on the beach of Ta Pao in Thailand is a dry season from November to March.
