Taqah beach

Taqah is a beach in the eastern suburbs of Salalah, Oman. This is long coastline being great for walking. Picturesque coconut palms line along the road. So this is a very pleasant town. Unfortunately, the swimming is often not possible due to strong waves. However, the waves are not so strong in the east - near the rocks. Fly to Muscat International Airport (MCT) or fly to Salalah International Airport (SLL). Next get by bus or hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Salalah is spring and autumn. Summer and winter are also good enough, but sea water is cooler. In winter - because it is winter, and in summer - because there are a lot of clouds in the sky.
