Tekek beach

Tekek is the main town of Tioman Island in Malaysia. There is a decent marina, an abandoned airport, and beaches - to the north and to the south of the port. The beaches are not so good as in small villages, but quite suitable to sunbathe and to swim. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

All Tekek hotels are located in the south end of the beach. In general, the prices and the quality of rooms are the same as on other beaches of Tioman.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Kuala Lumpur international airport (KUL). Next take a bus to Mersing, and follow to Tioman island by Bluewater Express ferry - 2 hours per way.

When to go [edit]

The best time to relax on the beaches of Tekek town is a dry season from April to July.
