Tela beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Tela is a popular beach in Atlantida (!) region of Honduras. There are many palms, scenic tiki huts, as well as bars with sunbeds rental. The sand is almost white, while sea water is almost azure. Unfortunately, rivers and creeks make the sea water slightly muddy, - but not too much. Depending on the weather conditions, the beach can be either clean or dirty. But in any case, the garbage is regularly removed by the local stuff. Beach bars usually have noisy parties until the late night. Definitely it is funny. But sometimes it can be hard to fall sleep :) Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
In Tela hotels, rooms' rates starts from US$60. There are also real beachfront resorts - from US$100 to US$400 per night. However, even if you stay far from the sea, it will not take a long time to walk to the beach. And anyway it won't be a problem to find a cozy shaded spot under the palms.
