Therese islet
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Therese is an uninhabited islet to the west of
Mahe island, Seychelles. This is a perfect tropical escape with great beach and with good hiking over the low mountains. The water is always calm, since the beach doesn't look into the open ocean - unlike most beaches of the main Mahe island. There are also good snorkeling opportunities. However, you should be careful at low tide, since corals can be dangerous in shallow water. It is possible to get here by boat from Port Glaud beach (15 min) or from Port Launay beach (20 min). Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
