Thimarafushi island

Thimarafushi is a local island on the atoll of Thaa, Maldives. It has no good beaches to speak of. However, there are several uninhabited islets nearby, so day trips are possible. Also, locals suggest surfing and snorkeling. But in reality, these are nor very good. Shore and seabed: stones. [edit]

Bina Surf Camp is a guesthouse with rooms' fares starting from US$60 per night - including all taxes. Of course, it is cheap by the Maldives standards, but the service is quite basic. Enough to say, that the minimum room size is just about 13 sq.m.

Fly to Maldives international airport (MLE). Next take a domestic flight to Thimarafushi airport.

The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Thimarafushi is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
