Thinadhoo is an inhabited island in
Vaavu atoll, Maldives. There is a nice bikini beach, but without any tree's shadow. In addition the entire west end of the island is wild and quite beautiful. Big hotel can accommodate too many tourists during the peak dates, but you may take tours to the uninhabited island located nearby. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Plumeria Boutique is the only hotel on the island. Rooms' rates start from US$160 per night, which is rather expensive for the local island. And the high rise building is not what we want from the small island, especially in the Maldives.
However, a hotel claims to some luxury, though it's more like a Turkey - with jet skis and crowd on the beach struggling for sunbeds. In fact there is no luxury, no alcohol, and you'll get quite the same in ordinary cheap guest-houses located on the other islands.
