Thrissur beach

Thrissur is a beach located to the north of Kochi in Kerala, India. The beach is beautiful, clean and not crowded. There is also a good beachfront cafe. This is a manicured place with picturesque palms. So the locals like it for weddings, family meetings and other VIP events. Please note that this is an open ocean. So there are often strong waves. Coco Palm Beach Resort, Snehatheeram Beach Resort and Anchorage Beach Villa are decent hotels by the Indian standards. Rooms' rates start from US$60 per night. There are also some other accommodation options. As elsewhere in India, the service is not perfect, but value for money is Ok in most cases.

The best time for a holiday on the beaches of Kerala is a dry season from December to April.
