Thulusdhoo is a local island - the capital of
North Male Atoll in the Maldives. Bikini beach is surprisingly excellent - with white sand and palms hanging over the water. Unfortunately, most of the seabed is rocky, but there are few sandy areas. Like everywhere around there is good surfing and diving. Shore and seabed: rocks, sand.

Hotels [edit]
In Thulusdhoo there is a good choice of hotels - even with a high-rise building of Season Paradise (not the best one). Like all the inhabited islands in the Maldives, the room rate with all taxes can be rarely less than US$100 per night.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next take a government
MTCC ferry, - route
# 301. The journey takes 2 hours and 15 minutes per way and costs about US$2 per person. The ferry runs every day except Friday:
- there: departure from Male at 14:30 - arrival in Thulusdhoo at 16:45;
- back: departure from Thulusdhoo at 7:25 - arrival in Male at 9:40.
The only transfer option on Friday is a private boat, which costs from US$200 (for the boat) per way.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday on the island of Thulusdhoo in Maldives is a dry season from January to April. The rest of the time it's a rainy season, which means that there is a maximum of 2-3 sunny days per week.
As for the surfing, the best time is a summer half of the year with June and July being the perfect months.
