Tongaat is a beach located right near Durban Airport in South Africa. The place is beautiful with sand dunes, as well as secluded and relatively safe. As for the downsides, it is worth to mention, that it is impossible to swim in the ocean due to the strong waves. In addition, there is nothing around - except for a small beach cafe.
