Trani beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Trani is the closest sandy beach to the west of Bari, Italy. In fact, these are few separate beaches to the east of Trani city center: Lido Colonna, Lido Sen. Mongelli, Seconda Spiaggia and Matinelle. Breakwaters protect the coast from strong waves, so this is a great place for children. Urbanistic landscapes are rather mediocre here, and no nature at all. But it's not so bad anyway, and it's much better than in the neighboring areas. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

The cost of a room in Trani hotels starts from US$70 per night. Or you should be ready to pay US$150 near the good beach. But in this case it will be too far from the Old Town being very interesting itself.
