Treasure Beach

Treasure Beach is a low key beach area in the south-west of Jamaica. De-facto these are just a few fishing villages with Frenchman's Bay being the most interesting one (not to be confused with Frenchman's Cove). Other villages are Billy's Bay, Calabash Bay and Great Pedro Bay. The beaches are not the best by the standards of Jamaica. This place is good to escape from crowds of popular resorts, and to feel the real Jamaica. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]

Treasure Beach has few dozen reasonably priced guesthouses (room from 60$ per night). For the luxury all-inclusive hotels you should go to other places.

Fly to Montego Bay international airport (MBJ) or fly to Kingston airport (KIN). Next hire a taxi.

Jamaica has great weather all year around except for a short rainy season in October.
