Trunk Bay beach

Trunk Bay - most popular beach of St. John island in American Virgin Islands. Entrance fee is a few dollars, - free after 16:00. The beach has a shower, toilet room and dedicated place for a barbecue. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Hotels [edit]

There are no hotels near the beach. Best is to live in the neighboring St. Thomas island and make daily boat trips to St. John island.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to St. Thomas Airport (STT). (Sometimes it will be cheaper to fly via San Juan Airport (SJU).) Get by shuttle taxi-bus from St. Thomas airport to Red Hook ferry pier. There is frequent ferry service from Red Hook to the port of Cruz Bay (St. John island). In Cruz Bay, sit to shuttle bus, following in the direction of Trunk Bay.
