Ukulhas is an inhabited island in
North Ari Atoll of the Maldives. The beaches has perfect white sand and good entry into the water, though occasional broken corals can be met. The water is usually clear and well suited both for swimming and snorkelling. There are mainly bushes ashore, - not palms. Small bikini-beach is equipped with sun loungers and parasols. Shore and seabed: sand.

Ukulhas island has a great selection of budget guesthouses with excellent service. Some accomodation options even claim for three or four stars. Room rates including all fees and taxes are about US$100 per night.

MTCC ferry -
route 304. It takes 4 hours 15 minutes and ticket price is about US$5 per way:
- departure from Male at 9:00 on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday;
- departure back from Ukulhas island at 10:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
There is also daily public speedboat between Male and Ukulhas. It takes 1.5 hours per way. The ticket cost is US$50 per person per way.
Ukulhas island has also ferry connection with the neighboring islands of Alifu Alifu atoll.

Thoddoo island, while
route 305 heads in the direction of Mathiveri island and further away.

The best time for a beach holiday on Ukulhas island in the Maldives is a dry season from January to April.
