Uncle Roddy beach

Uncle Roddy is a beach in the south of Barbuda island in the Caribbean. The beach itself is not very interesting. Though if you walk to the east about half an hour, you can reach best beach of the island (Diana beach). The killer feature about this place is a superb lobster bar - Uncle Roddy's Beach Bar & Grill. It is better to call the day before arrival, - or the property may not work. But you are guaranteed to get lunch with the fresh ingredients, - and usually very tasty. Shore and seabed: sand. [edit]

Barbuda Cottages is a hotel located right next to the bar. There are also several more hotels on the island, but these are almost not presented in the international booking systems.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Antigua international airport (ANU). Next get by ferry Barbuda Express (US$75 for the round trip).

When to go [edit]

Feel free to relax on the island of Barbuda any time of year. All seasons are different, but are good enough for tourists.
