Vavau beach
Ultimate guide (November 2024)
Vavau is a great private beach in the southeast of
Upolu island, Samoa. There is an entrance fee, - either per car or per person. For the money you can spend a day in a wooden hut. There is a shower and toilet, - but no hotel, nor restaurant. The place is beautiful. Unfortunately, comfortable swimming is possible only between picturesque large rocks. All other areas are (sometimes) affected by strong undercurrents. So this is not the best snorkeling spot. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
