Velika plaza beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Velika plaza is the longest beach in Montenegro (12 km). The shore is sandy without any pebbles, thus being unique for the country and even for the whole Adriatic. Weather conditions are often perfect both for kite surfing, as well as for swimming. Most of the coast is deserted, without crowds and without any buildings. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
The nearest to the beach hotels are located 2 km off the coast in
Donji Stoj village or a little to the north - in the major town of
Ulcinj. Thus, in any case, you'll have to walk to the coastline for about 20 minutes. It's not a great price to spend a day on a secluded great beach.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Tivat international airport (TIV). Next hire a taxi or take a bus.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in the town of Ulcinj is a warm summer half of the year.
