Vilamendhoo is a private island in the atoll of Alifu Dhaalu, Maldives. Beach bungalow are located at some distance from the shore. So almost everywhere on the island you can see the perfect beach only - with trees, palms hanging over water, white sand and comfortable entry into the water, while the house reef offers excellent snorkeling. As for the disadvantages we may note that sea water is too shallow on the north of the island, while the south side suffers from the coastal erosion. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa is a 5-star property with rooms' fares starting from US$550 per night for a full board meal plan. This is a great deal for such a beautiful place. The rooms are not quite luxurious, but the beach is one of the best in the Maldives. If you don't like the location of your bungalow, feel free to ask the staff for something else.
There is an "adult only" area on the island, which is good for honeymooners. Strange, but the best beach on the island is dedicated to adult zone, making families with children to be very disapointed. However, there are a lot attractions for kids.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Male international airport (MLE). Next fly by a seaplane about 25 minutes. Vilamendhoo has low transfer fees - US$360 per adult and US$180 per child from 2 to 12 years old (infants are for free).
