Wadi Gharm beach

Wadi Gharm is a beach on the Indian coast of Oman. In fact, there is no ocean beach to speak of. The main attraction is a large freshwater lake. The place is also known as Turtle Lagoon. Fly to Muscat International Airport (MCT) or fly to Salalah International Airport (SLL). Next get by bus or hire a taxi.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Oman is spring and autumn. Summer and winter are also good enough, but sea water is cooler. In winter - because it is winter, and in summer - because there are a lot of clouds in the sky.
