Wavine Cyrique beach
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Wavine Cyrique is the most unusual beach in
Dominica, the Caribbean. This is one of the few places in the World, where a waterfall (30 m) falls from the mountains directly to the beach. Before visit, it makes sense to looks for schedule of tides, as during the high tide, the waterfall falls into the sea, and it is difficult to approach it. Usually, there is no a living soul ashore, since the place is very hard to access. The beach itself is beautiful - with palms and black sand, but not very comfortable for swimming. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
