West End Bay beach

West End Bay is a beach in the west of St. Croix island, US Virgin Islands. It is located near the village of Smithfield. The beach is beautiful - with palms, clear azure water and without algae. Unfortunately, there are many places, where the water's edge is rocky. But this is not a real problem, since you can always find coastal areas with great sandy entry into the water. Sand Castle on the Beach is an adult only hotel with rooms' rates starting from US$300 per night. The hotel is good enough, but slightly overpriced. However, everything is expensive in the Virgin Islands.

When to go [edit]

Feel free to relax in Saint Croix island any time of year. Summer half of the year is a low season due to the risk of hurricanes. But the weather is usually very good even during this period.
