Wisana is a beach in the southeast of
Redang island, Malaysia. This is an almost perfect tropical paradise - with white sand, clear azure water and scenic coastal rocks. You can also swim to the sandbank located not far from the shore. While the snorkeling is great as well, - quite like everywhere in the island. There are just a few tourists, and you'll have enough space to walk along the coastline. Unfortunately, there is very limited shade from trees and palms ashore. In addition, it is very boring here, - even if you are looking for seclusion. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Wisana Village is a mediocre hotel located in a cozy place. "Deluxe" room starts from US$200 per night (including snorkeling tour and island hiking tour). So it is acceptable, but too "basic". This is not a good spot, if you want an upscale holiday. And definitely, they are totally overpriced.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Kuala Lumpur international airport (KUL). Next get by domestic flight to
Kota Terengganu airport (TGG). Then get by taxi to the pier of
Kampung Penarik town, and get by speedboat to Redang island.
Attention! You should always ask your hotel about transfer options, as well as to book boat in advance for exact time and exact pier.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a holiday in Redang island is a dry season from March to August.
