Zingaro is a National Park in the northwest of
Sicily island in Italy. There is a walking path along the coast, as well as two more difficult routes in the mountains. Anyway you'll get a breathtaking view, as well as few good beaches. Shore and seabed: pebble.
[edit]
Hotels [edit]
The hotels nearest to National Park are located near its southern entry - in the Scopello village. In general, prices are unexpectedly high, though there are some relatively budget options. In most cases it makes sense to stay in San Vito Lo Capo - to the north of Zingaro.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Palermo airport (PMO) or fly to
Trapani Airport (TPS). Then take a taxi. The southern entrance to the National Park is located just near the village of Scopello, while the northern entrance is not far from the popular beach town of
San Vito Lo Capo. Usually the park is passed through in one direction, and the return way is taken by taxi.
When to go [edit]
The best time to visit Zingaro National Park is a warm season from May to October.
